Install Scibian 11 from scibian.org

1. Download the Scibian 11 ISO

   https://scibian.org/repos/iso/scibian_11-20230711.iso

2. Choose the installation type

   • Optical Disk
   • USB Key

3. Follow the instructions

   After starting the installer, the first step of the installation is displayed, you just have to press Enter key then follow the instructions on the screen.

   During the different stages you will be led to :

   • Choose your language
   • Choose your location to set your time zone and system locale
   • Configure your keyboard
   • Indicate the system name
   • Specify a domain name
   • Configure the proxy url if necessary
   • Enter the superuser password and confirm it
   • Enter a username
   • Enter the user password and confirm it
   • Choose a partitionning mode
   • …

   Each step requiring action on your part will be described on the screen.

   When prompted to choose the applications to install on the system, do not choose and simply proceed to the next step.
